How to use this pack
This is a guide’s narrative companion, not a timetable. Each stop pairs the ancient name with its contemporary location, an approximate Pauline date, the biblical record, a concise account of what happened, and present-day places that help a group interpret the story. Read the route as a connected journey rather than as isolated monuments.
DATING CONVENTION All dates are approximate CE. Acts rarely gives calendar dates. This pack follows a common chronology: the second journey c. 49–52; the third journey c. 53– 57; and the voyage to Rome c. 59–60, with Paul in Rome c. 60–62. Some chronologies shift individual events by one or two years.
EVIDENCE LANGUAGE “Acts records” means the event is explicit in the biblical text. “Tradition identifies” means a later devotional association. “Archaeological setting” means the place illuminates Paul’s world but cannot be tied to a particular action by Paul.
